Family Reunion!!

So this past weekend my grandma Wanda asked me and my sisters to take her to Denver for her family reunion. I was a little worried about going because I didn't know any of them. They are actually first cousins to her, and she really hasn't met any of them either. Well while we were there, of course you have to take pictures. We had pictures of everything. But my favorite, Grandma Kyla, and Kalisha being tough girls. I love it! It is the best picture I have from that day. Oh and of course the one of Grandma by herself....... well lets just say PRICELESS!!!

Now its grandmas turn to take a picture of us. All the girls were laying on the sidewalk and she HAD to get a picture.... of coure!! Grandma loves to take pictures because she now has a printer to print all of them out, so she loves it.

My first homemade skirt!!

Well for the first time I made me a skirt. Megan Bagwell asked me to help with her wedding so I decided to make me a skirt that would match her colors. But the only thing is I wasn't too sure how it would turn out so my mom made it for me. It turned out so cute I love it. If you can't tell from the picture it has two bows on the left side next to the zipper. I Love It!!!

Ward Campout!!

So just this past weekend our ward went up to La Manga Campground and had a ward campout. Boy was it fun. We didn't have too many come but we still had a really good time. From a scavanger hunt to a buzzing game, the fun never ended. Well it did when we packed up Saturday afternoon to head home. But all in all I say we do it again. Those that didn't go missed out on a ton of fun and relaxation. :)

Well the trek up there was pretty dang entertaining. Kyla, Dad, Melissa, JD, Makynlee, and I went up together. We left the house around 11:30. First stop, Antonito at G6 for lunch. Funny thing is this one guy came up to us and gave us a cd of his music. It was jazz flute, very interesting. Now headed up the pass. While driving up there, we passed the guy on the side of the road where you can look off. He was doing some weird exercise like thing with a sword. It was so funny. Then keep going! Well couldn't find where anyone was at so we turned around and went back down towards Horca (where the camp was) and dad smoked the brakes on the truck. Poor Dad he just needs a new truck!

Now we are finally at the campsite. Setting up camp, piece of cake. Especially when all you have to do is level the camper and set out the pop outs. So easy. Well thats mainly the most of the excitement. Toodles!!!!
